  • May be inherited as a simple recessive gene
  • Not breeding from affected individuals should reduce disease incidence

Neurological conditions

Congenital deafness
Arachnoid cysts
  • Breed predisposition
Dermoid sinus
  • Congenital defect

Ocular conditions

Entropion (usually lateral lower lids)
  • Breed predisposition
Eversion of the cartilage of the nictitating membrane
  • Breed predisposition
  • Inheritance suspected
